Pattern: Incineroar Amigurumi

A 5" tall amigurumi of the Pokemon Incineroar. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Following my Decidueye amigurumi, next up is Incineroar. I think he looks soo much cuter as a plush than he does ingame. If I decide to play through the game a second time I will probably choose this one as my starter. I didn't include his fire belt because I thought it would make it a bit cluttered-looking, and I didn't think it would translate well into yarn. Besides, I like his design better without it.

Primarina is almost done, just have to make a few more parts and sew it all together. I don't know if I like Primarina's amigurumi as much as the other two, but I also don't like it in general so I'm biased. :P

Pattern: Decidueye Amigurumi

A 5" tall amigurumi of the Pokemon Decidueye. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So a while ago I decided screw it and spoiled all the new Pokemon for myself. And while I was initially probably going to pick Litten, Incineroar freaks me out so I decided I'll go for Decidueye instead. And now that I've thought about it, I think I do like Rowlet better anyway. So of course, I needed to crochet a Decidueye for myself. Tried a few new things with this amigurumi and I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, so I'm now also working on the other two starters. Already finished Incineroar and currently working on Primarina. (Incineroar in plush form is waaay cuter than the in-game model).

Now that I've definitely chosen my starter I kinda want to make another Rowlet amigurumi to match the Decidueye one. Or I'll just buy the official plush. Don't know.

Pattern: Lion with Scarf Amigurumi

A 7" tall amigurumi of a lion wearing a scarf. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Earlier this year I decided to make amigurumi of the 4 Hogwarts house animals wearing their respective scarves. This is the only one that I managed to complete because life happened, so I'm uploading it as its own thing. No idea if I'll go back and finish the rest of them.

The scarf is a separate piece and can be taken off. I've included alternate instructions for the head if you don't want to make a scarf for him. This involves just taking out a few rounds of the head, otherwise the neck will look too long without the scarf there. Here's a picture of another lion made with the extra rounds taken off:

I decided to upload this now because winter is coming and amigurumi need scarves too! Plus that new Harry Potter movie is coming out next month so the timing is perfect. It has nothing to do with the fact that I've been too lazy to take pictures of it. Nope. Completely unrelated.

Pattern: Psyduck Amigurumi REVAMP

A 6" tall revamp of my Psyduck amigurumi. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Still working on updating some of my old stuff, so here's Psyduck. This one only had very minor changes to the pattern, so if you bought the old one there's really no need to buy the new pattern. Just fixed a few things I thought were weird. I also shrunk the feet a little to better fit the body and removed the fingers from the arms. This time around I sewed the feet onto the front of the body because why not.

I currently have an unfinished Snorlax revamp on my desk that might be completed sometime in the next century. No guarantees.

Pattern: Mimikyu Amigurumi

A 6.5" tall amigurumi of the new Pokemon Mimikyu. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So let's just collectively ignore the fact that I haven't uploaded anything in 3 months.

For the most part I've been trying to avoid spoilers for the new Pokemon games but I heard people talking about this Pokemon that pretends to be a Pikachu and goshdarnit if it isn't absolutely adorable. Therefore it must be crocheted. Pretty pleased with how it turned out. Been working on making my amigurumi look cleaner which will never be made into a tutorial because I'm incredibly lazy which I might make a tutorial on sometime.

On another note: there's finally a Hobby Lobby near me!!! asdfshgadfsfdhgas I'm so excited. Ever since I moved nearly 4 years ago the closest one was over an hour away and now there's one not even 10 minutes away. It's beautiful. I love Hobby Lobby because it's the only store that carries my absolute favorite brand of yarn "I Love This Yarn". I need to go on a shopping spree. :P

Pattern: Espeon Amigurumi REVAMP

A revamped version of my Espeon amigurumi measuring 6" tall. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So I died again, sorry about that. I decided that I had to knit two pillows and a blanket for myself all within a month. My fingers feel like death.

Anyway, more revamps. So I really didn't like my Eeveelutions amigurumi, but decided I had to upload them because I spent so much time on them. 5 months later I am so sick of looking at them that I ripped them up and made new ones. Here's Espeon:

Sooo much better. Seriously, what was I thinking with those creepy giant plastic eyes? And that ugly felt nose. Thankfully I am finally coming to the end of my felt addiction. The eyes for the new Eeveelutions should be the end of it. I have pricked myself with the felting needle enough.

The other Eeveelutions will be coming...sometime. When I get off my dead butt and take pictures. Plus I still have to finish Glaceon and Sylveon. The old patterns won't be posted on my blog because I hate them and I'm lazy. If you really want them you can email me, but I doubt anyone would.

Also working on a Snorlax revamp and I'm eyeing my Amaterasu one as well. Plus I have a new pattern that I am so super proud of. Don't know when I'll post that either. Free Pattern Friday will probably resume once all the Eeveelutions are uploaded.

Pattern: Popplio Amigurumi

A 6" tall amigurumi of the new water starter Pokemon, Popplio. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Aaaand everyone's least favorite starter for Pokemon Sun and Moon, Popplio. I dunno, I think he has potential. Definitely not my first choice though.

Finally making some headway on the then thousand projects I have going at once. I need to finish my big projects so I can finally get back to doing small projects for Free Pattern Fridays. And I finally made a lion amigurumi that I don't hate! Dunno when that pattern will be up.

Pattern: Rowlet Amigurumi

A 6" tall amigurumi of the new grass starter Pokemon, Rowlet. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So from what I gather this is everyone's preferred starter for the new games. I'm still torn between him and Litten though. Can't wait to see the final evolutions.

Don't have much to say about this one. Came out pretty well I think. I've got Popplio finished as well but I still need to take pictures of him. The pattern will be up sometime this weekend and then I can finally go back to redoing all of the eeveelutions (god help me).

Pattern: Litten Amigurumi

A 7" tall amigurumi of the new fire starter, Litten. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So I have like ten different projects going on at once and of course Nintendo decides to release the starters for the next Pokemon game. Now I have to stop everything and make them. The pictures for this make it look a bit weird, but I swear it looks better in real life. Expect the Rowlet and Popplio patterns soon!

Hopefully I'll stop being lazy and finish writing up the new GoT dragon pattern for next week.

Pattern: Lannister Lion Amigurumi REVAMP

A 7" tall amigurumi of a lion. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Reeevaaaampp. I think this turned out pretty decent. Not my favorite but better than the original I think.

The mane was a pain (rhyming) in the butt to try and work out. I hate crocheting lions solely because of it. And I plan on crocheting the Hogwarts animals which of course includes a lion. *sigh*

The old pattern will be this weeks free pattern. Currently working on revamping my Eeveelutions and I still need to crochet the direwolf to finish off the sigils set. Blargh.

But seriously, that Game of Thrones episode last night. GET HYPE

Pattern: Game of Thrones Baratheon Stag Amigurumi REVAMP

A 8" tall amigurumi of a stag. The pattern is available on Ravelry and my Etsy shop. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Revamp time! I've been itching to make new versions of my Game of Thrones sigils for a while. The only one I really liked out of the original bunch was the direwolf. This time around I decided to make the animals look more realistic and have them stand up. This stag will make a lovely reindeer amigurumi come Christmastime. :)

The old pattern for the stag will be posted in an upcoming Free Pattern Friday because I have to go and edit all the links, posts, etc. relating to the old pattern and I'm too lazy to do it at the moment.

Free Pattern Friday: Raven Amigurumi REVAMP

A 7" tall amigurumi of a raven. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Two patterns in one day? Nonsense.

Another revamp because that's my thing now, this time its of my old Raven pattern. Decided to remake it so it looks more like a real bird. It's also kind of Game of Thrones-y because of the three-eyed raven and all that. Only two eyes on this guy though. He's able to stand on his own, but you have to find that sweet spot and make sure to stuff the legs pretty well. In order to get the body to have a bird-like shape, I had to be a bit creative. The pattern looks complicated, take it slow and feel free to ask questions.

Here's a comparison pic:

*** More Detailed Instructions for Rounds 13 and 14

13. Do 15 sc as normal. Chain 7 and sc down the chains, back to the main piece. Resume single crocheting around the body for another 15 stitches. [sc, dec] six times until you reach the end of the round.
14. Do 15 sc as normal. Single crochet up the opposite side of the chains you made in the previous round. You should now be at the top of the chain extension. Single crochet back down the chain piece and back into the main piece. Do 33 sc as normal to the end of the round.

You should now have one piece with 54 stitches around. Proceed to round 15.

Basically the point of these rounds is to extend the length of the body to give it more of a bird shape. This is done using a chain extension that you incorporate into the rest of the piece, which adds an extra 12 stitches lengthwise onto the piece.

I hope this helps!

Free Pattern Friday: Tyrion Lannister Amigurumi

A 7.5" tall amigurumi of Tyrion Lannister from Game of Thrones. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

Game of Thrones? GAME OF THRONES!

My god I am so excited. To celebrate, here is an ancient pattern. It's supposed to be Tyrion Lannister but it uh...doesn't look much like him. =/
I've had this pattern just sitting on my computer for probably over two years now, and now that Game of Thrones is upon us I finally decided to upload it. There is so much I would change about it if I were to remake it, but that's not happening.

Sorry for no patterns lately, I had a few super busy weeks. BUT I will make up for it; I have been remaking all of my Game of Thrones sigil patterns. Once I upload the new patterns, all four of the old patterns will be free. The only one I have left to make is the direwolf, so those should be coming soon. TGIF and GET HYPE

Pattern: Fluffy Ram Amigurumi

A 5.5" tall amigurumi of a super fluffy ram. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

I was downloading custom content for my Sims 2 obsession and I saw that someone had made a cute little ram plush to download. It was so cute that I decided I had to make one, so here it is. I consider it a bit of a spiritual successor to my Fluffy Sheep pattern.

Decided to use fabric glue rather than felting to adhere the cheeks on for a few reasons. One, it gives the face a little bit more dimension, and two, the darn thing broke my last two felting needles. >:(

Free pattern tomorrow! I'm also currently working on revamping the Game of Thrones Sigils before the new season starts (Yay!).

Pattern: Pikachu Amigurumi REVAMP

A 7" tall amigurumi of a Pikachu. The pattern is available on Ravelry and on Etsy. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

An updated version of my old Pikachu with Ash Hat pattern, which will now be this weeks Free Pattern Friday. Check out last week's Free Pattern Friday for a mini Ash Hat to adorn your Pikachu with.

I am sooo happy with how this Pikachu came out. I mean look at the difference:

I didn't really like the old pattern, but I never realized how bad it was until I put them side-by-side. Major improvement!

Here's the changes that I made:
1. Redid the whole body to look more like Pikachu's body.
2. Larger cheeks. I mean really, look how small they were!
3. Felt eyes, because they match the look better.
4. No lines for the toes because they just look awkward.
5. No paw pads because Pikachu doesn't actually have any and they also look weird.
6. Hat is now partially made of felt instead of all yarn, which makes it look cleaner.
7. Edited the pattern for the tail so it's worked in one piece.

I think that's pretty much it. Another pattern should be coming soon, and this time it's not a revamped old pattern. It's also super fluffy. :)

Free Pattern Friday: Mini Ash Hat

It's pattern time. This weeks pattern is a 1.5" tall amigurumi of Ash's hat from Pokemon. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So I've been remaking some of my old crappy patterns, one being Pikachu with the Ash Hat, and decided when I revamped that one I would make the hat a separate piece. Now you can have a stylin' hat for all your Pokemon amigurumi! The pattern for the Pikachu should be up this week. Here's a sneak preview:

I feel the need to complain. As you can see, my blog now has a new design because Blogger randomly decided to change up the templates and stuff. But now the format in a lot of my posts is completely messed up, so I need to go back and fix those. Bah. Etsy is going to have a design change soon too and I really don't like how it looks. I hate change.
Also, sorry for no free pattern last week, my felting needles decided to break all at once and I lost all motivation to crochet while waiting for new ones. Just got an order of 50 today so that should last me a while (I hope).

Anyway, happy Friday!

Free Pattern Friday: Freezer Bunny REVAMP

Welcome to Free Pattern Friday! Today's pattern is a 5" tall amigurumi of Freezer Bunny from The Sims series. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

This is the beginning of what will probably be another project that I will never complete: remaking all my previous patterns that are not up to my current standards. I will still keep the old pattern up on my blog, but it will be changed on Ravelry.

A couple days ago I decided that this pattern needed a serious makeover. First of all, I used my preferred E hook instead of an F hook, which made it a bit smaller. The eyes on the first one are almost the same size, which they shouldn't be, so I increased the size of the larger eye. Another part I modified was the arms, tweaking it so you start with a standard ch 2, 6 sc instead of 5 sc. I also used a darker pink for the ears and nose, and changed the pupils from yarn to felt to make them more even.

Here's a before and after:

Materials:
▪  Worsted weight yarn in light pink, dark pink, medium pink, white, black
▪  Felt in black
▪  E hook (3.50 mm)
▪  Stuffing
▪  Scissors
▪  Tapestry needle
▪  Felting Needle

Difficulty: Easy

You should know how to work in the round, increase, decrease, and work in the back loops.
