Pattern: Unicorn and Pegasus Amigurumi

Two 7" tall amigurumi of both a Unicorn and a Pegasus. The pattern is available on Ravelry and in my Etsy shop. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

So here's something that I've been working on for quite a while. Originally I just wanted to make an amigurumi of a horse, but I thought that wasn't exciting enough, so I turned it into a unicorn. The first unicorn I made was green colored like the Pegasus in the picture, and then I thought that unicorns are really more of a girl thing, so I made another one that was pink. After finishing that I decided that I should also make a Pegasus but with green/ blue coloring to compliment the girly coloring. BUT both the unicorn and the Pegasus amigurumi had big holes in them because for some reason I was crocheting loosely when I made them, so I had to make both of them all over again. Yaaaaay. =/

After finally getting done with these amigurumi, I thought they were so cute that I made a couple more patterns with a similar design which should be coming soon, along with more free patterns (sorry for the lack of Free Pattern Fridays, been kinda busy lately).

Free Pattern Friday: Pokemon Substitute Doll Amigurumi

This week's Free Pattern Friday is a 6" tall amigurumi of the substitute doll from the Pokemon games. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

This is another one of my really old patterns. It's definitely one of the ones that I would like to remake eventually as it has potential, but it's way too fat and the face could use some work. I have learned a lot since making this and I know of a few ways to make this thing look more proportional. But until then, enjoy this chubby little guy and have a good weekend! Can't wait for Game of Thrones on Sunday. :)

Free Pattern Friday: Munchlax Amigurumi

This week's Free Pattern Friday pattern is a 6" tall amigurumi of Munchlax from Pokemon. The pattern is available on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

This was not actually a pattern that I planned on doing, but someone on Etsy wanted me to make them one so I did. It never occurred to me to make him before, which is odd because I already have a Snorlax amigurumi. I guess I just forgot this guy existed, which is a shame because he's pretty cute. He reminds me a bit of Totoro and now I kind of want to make a Totoro pattern, but there's like 5 billion Totoro patterns on the internet and I don't really have anything new to offer.

Also, I just realized when I linked to the Snorlax pattern that the Snorlax pictures are not really the right color. I used the exact same yarn on Munchlax as I did Snorlax and for some reason they look vastly different. I need to remember to retake those pictures. Anyway, TGIF and happy crocheting!
