Free Pattern Friday: Puppy Amigurumi

Hello, and welcome to the first edition of Free Pattern Friday! Yes, I know in the last post I called it "Failed Pattern Friday", but I think Free Pattern Friday sounds a little bit better. Plus, not all of the patterns I plan to upload on Fridays are really "failed"; some of them are good, but not great. So yeah, name change.

For those who didn't read the last post, this is how it works. Every Friday I will upload a pattern that is completely free. These patterns are either ones that are really old or just weren't up to par (usually both). Initially I wasn't going to post any of these patterns on Ravelry, but for some reason I can't share the PDF files in my Google Drive (and thus put them on the blog), so I might have to upload them anyway. I'll think about it.

A 7" tall amigurumi of a puppy. You can download the PDF version on Ravelry. If you have any questions, feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

This pattern is one of my older ones, made probably around the end of 2013. I don't even have the amigurumi anymore, I scrapped it for parts a while ago because I didn't like how it turned out and intended to make a new one. Never did get around to that. Looking back on it, it's not as bad as I thought it was, but it could definitely use some tweaks.

  1. I'm having issues with the ear. It says chain 13. Then sc. On the other side, check 13...so we would turn it, correct? Or were gong back across the 13 we made?
