Free Pattern: Narwhal Amigurumi


A 4" tall Narwhal amigurumi. You can download the free PDF pattern on Ravelry or you can find it written below. If you have any questions feel free to email me at icrochetthings@gmail.com.

I'm currently in the process of uploading a lot of my old patterns. This is probably one of the first patterns I ever made.

Materials:
 Worsted weight yarn in light purple, white, black
 F hook (3.75 mm)
 Stuffing
 12 mm safety eyes
 Scissors
 Tapestry needle

Difficulty: Easy
You should know how to work in the round, increase, and decrease.

Tail
Starting with light purple

First Fin:
1.  ch 2, 6 sc in 1st ch  (6)

3.  [sc] around  (12)

F/O, leave long tail for sewing

Second Fin:
Work the same as the first fin, DO NOT F/O
4.  sc into one of the sts of the first fin, [sc] around
     sc into the next st of the second fin, [sc] around  (24)
5 – 7.  [sc] around (24)
Use the tail from the first fin to sew the hole between the fins shut
Stuff

8.  [dec] around  (12)

F/O, leave long tail for sewing

Assembly
See pictures above if you need help with placement

 Use black yarn to embroider a mouth onto the body
 Sew the flippers on either side of the body
 Sew the horn on top of the body, stuffing as you go
 Sew the tail onto the back of the body
▪  If the tail is a bit floppy after sewing it on you can push the tail up against the body and sew a
   bit higher, which will hold it up
